I loved everything about this wonderful restaurant. The quality of the food was outstanding! I especially liked the pizzas, the pasta, and the wonderful cookies. The service was incredible. The food was quick, hot, and delicious. Finally, the ambience was extremely amazing! The chairs are comfy and the fridge is stocked. I come here every week and I am always impressed by their quick, hot, and delicious meals that always satisfy my tummy.

I decided to revisit this place since I started working nearby again. Drove up the road and pulled in to the parking lot, which is shared with other businesses and restaurants. Surprisingly it wasn't packed. Went in around 1:00 on a Wednesday and again to my surprise it wasn't busy. I remember this place always packed but maybe that changed post-pandemic I had a hard time deciding - I didn't want heavy since I was going back to the office. I guess my only complaint, for lack of a better term, was that there were no plain or classic slices. Now don't get me wrong, the showcase was filled with all these crazy combos and thick pan slices - curly fries, chicken tenders, bacon, ranch - but no plain, pepperoni, or sausage slices to be seen. I did spot a mushroom slice and a white slice with broccoli so I went with just the white slice to test the waters. Crust and ingredients were really good - staff heated it up just right. I added some crushed red pepper and garlic and it was worth it. With a 17 fl oz water it came to about $5.60. I grabbed a booth towards the entrance and was also pleased with the cleanliness of the dining room. I'll be gluttonous on the weekends and if I'm nearby, I would stop and try a couple of those specialty slices but not during my lunch break. Would I come back during lunch? Maybe - but I might be taking a chance if they don't have any of those slices I mentioned. I think I'll try other places in the area first.

This plaza has changed so much over the years, and has been completely re-designed with many stores and restaurants opening and closing. But Aljons has been the sole survivor that has withstood the test of time. Starting going here over 20 years ago to this day, always pay a visit when back in town. The owner still remembers us regulars from back in the day which is always appreciated. Pizza was top notch way back in the day and best in the area. Over the years, quality might have slightly declined but overall still a solid choice if you're looking for good quality takeout pizza. You can also dine-in as well, plenty of seating available. My go to's are the margarita and the white pie which I've been getting since I was a kid and old habits die hard. But you really can't go wrong with any of their pizzas. I'm not as familiar with their sandwiches or pastas but I can't imagine them being bad. But that said if you stop by here, go for the pizza. That's what they're known for.

All I can review is a white pizza and garlic bread during the pandemic. The white cheese pizza, however, was a huge delicious slice. Perfect mix of ricotta.. and mozzarella

Aljon's is a really an old-school pizza joint - and I do mean OLD. I first came here almost 30 years ago, it's the kind of place that we'd visit as teenagers after school, or to take the basketball team to. Matter of fact after I visited the place again after a couple decades, they even still had the same Ms. Pac-Man game in the back! Aljon's really doesn't position itself as gourmet, but the flavor is amazing all the same. So good in fact that the shop has hardly changed in decades. To me, that means you're doing something right. This place serves a classic NY-style pizza - thin, 'foldable' crust, a little on the greasy side. If anyone's familiar with the top pizza places in NYC, this is closest to the style at Bleecker Street pizza. Get a slice of pepperoni or sausage to go, or even better grab a whole pie to enjoy the evening. The meatball heroes aren't bad either. No, it's not the place to take your date to impress her, but a solid choice for an honest slice of NYC-style goodness! This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.
